Router Table
I can still remember as I was putting together my
woodshop that I kept getting advice to get a good router table.
I had all of these tools that I needed and very little money, so
I opted for a table saw with an add on for a router. I thought it
would do and it did, but when I figured out the detail to your finished
product that a router added I figured out why it is important to
have a stand alone table. When you get good with a router and want
to take your wood projects to another level you will be using a
router a whole lot. The time it took me to set up my router and
take back down was taking so much time away from my actual building
time that I did what I should have done in the beginning and built
that stand alone table that was always ready to go.
We are dedicating this month to router table plans.
There are many designs and they all have there positives and negatives.
No matter what plan or combination of plans you choose to use to
build your table it will definetly take your finished product to
another level.
